Billing Assistant/Office Support, Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for candidates who are articulate, organized, and who demonstrate a positive, professional image, and exceptional interpersonal skills. The Billing Assistant/Office Support position is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures. Candidates must have excellent phone etiquette, strong typing skills and use of a computer, and must be able to effectively juggle multiple tasks throughout the day. *Applicant duties and responsibilities to evolve with time.

This is an excellent long-term opportunity with multiple fringe benefits, including a 401k and profit sharing plan. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at our Greensburg location.

Duties include:

  • Process invoices in a timely manner.
  • Review and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required.
  • Utilize computerized accounting and payables software programs to perform duties and responsibilities.
  • Utilize company computer software and input client/vendor information as needed.
  • Handling company documents: scanning, copying, assembling, and organizing.
  • Answer all incoming office calls in a timely manner answering questions or direct to appropriate office staff.
  • Interact with clients.
  • Assists with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Background in finance/accounting/billing is preferred but not required.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Adept at learning and becoming proficient in a number of software programs.
  • Compassionate, positive, and problem-solving personality
