Under Pennsylvania labor laws governing workers’ compensation, an employee who suffers an injury in a workplace accident, or as the result of performing their duties, can be entitled to:
- Two-thirds of their weekly pay up to a set maximum amount
- Immediate medical benefits
- Benefits for physical rehabilitation
- Benefits for temporary- and permanent- partial and total disability
Important: you do not have to have been involved in an accident for your injury claim to be valid. Injuries arising from the repetitive activities of many occupations can be just as debilitating.
