Medical Records Coordinator, Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for candidates who are articulate and organized, and who demonstrate a positive, professional image and exceptional interpersonal skills. The Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for the acquisition of all client medical history from any number of medical offices throughout the area. Candidates must have excellent phone etiquette, strong typing skills and use of a computer, and must have exceptional organizational skills.

This is an excellent long-term opportunity with multiple fringe benefits, including a 401k and profit sharing plan. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at our Greensburg location. Minimal to no travel is required for this position.

Duties include:

  • Working with each practice area to obtain records for clients
  • Sending and receiving a large volume of daily emails and faxes
  • Generating documents via Microsoft Office Products, Word Perfect, and other company-based software programs
  • Handling company documents: scanning, copying, assembling, and organizing
  • Answering all incoming office calls in a timely and friendly manner
  • Answering questions or directing said questions to appropriate office staff
  • Coordinating court dates with medical record request dates
  • Appropriate follow up of all tasks and objectives
