Pet Contest

My name is Emma, and this is my story.......

I know this routine; they peer into the room, enter and look around for "the one." They pat one or two of us on the head and pick up a few more to pet. Without finding what they came looking for, they slowly leave, and I go back to hiding in this scary, noisy place.

Another day breaks and more visitors arrive and leave empty-handed. But wait, I recognize these two...they were here yesterday? They seem to be looking for something particular, and they are coming towards me. They are happy to see me and carry me into another room with no cats, just people, and paper. Shortly we leave together and drive to a new place......they say "Emma welcome to your new home."

I eat, and I sleep the deepest, most peaceful nap I have ever taken. I am home.

I am a rescued kitty from the The Humane Society of Westmoreland County. My family chose to represent this shelter because of their kind and caring volunteers and the wonderful adoption services they provide. I have The Humane Society of Westmoreland County to thank for my new home and family. Please "like" my story!

Thank you!
