Vince quatrini from the Quatrini law group with another legal tip Tuesday lately I’ve noticed the number of injuries that are occurring with an employee being attacked by either a patient or a student in the workplace the teacher or the professional who is has the responsibility of taking care of students with special needs it is difficult for the student the students family as well as the teacher and the professional who has that responsibility not quite sure what the answer is right now of how to reduce these occurrences and or avoid them but they’re occurring way too often with awful consequences for the teacher the professional the employee at a state hospital who was attacked by a patient how do we get more safeguards for our employees yes we’re able to help you if you are injured in that way by processing your workers’s comp claim getting you good medical care for your injuries but we’d like to see those injuries be eliminated and we’re not quite sure what that Paradigm is what that structure is but there has to be a better way way to protect these employees in the workplace so unfortunately if this happens to you we’re here we handle these cases all the time like I said I’ve see way too many of them lately with awful consequences not only are there physical injuries but it’s the psychological the PTSD the post-traumatic stress that occurs after an attack like this so with that gloomy note I apologize but let’s do something about it if we can it’s Vince quatrini this is the quatrini law group and we hope that you have a better day thank you.
