Hi, I’m Peter Gough. I’m a certified attorney for workers’ compensation. Welcome to Quatrini Law Group’s Legal tip Tuesday. Joining me today is Anne, who has some interesting questions for your workers’ compensation case. So, I’ve heard that if I have a workers’ compensation case, I should avoid social media. You are absolutely correct, Anne. So, does that mean I can’t post on Facebook? No, you cannot Anne.
Can I post on Instagram? No, you cannot Anne. Can I post on TikTok? No, Anne, you cannot. Can I post any pictures on my friend’s page about the concert I went to? Ah, no, Anne. You should really avoid any social media, with all kidding aside. This is used by insurance companies to investigate your activities and then use as evidence in court that you’re doing more than you say you’re physically capable of performing.
So, any other questions? When can I post on social media? You can post on social media how great the lawyers are and the staff is at Quatrini Law Group after we get your case settled and won. Alright, that sounds good. Thank you.
