Many people don’t realize how low their auto insurance limits are until it’s too late. In today’s Legal Tip Tuesday, Attorney Joyce Novotny-Prettiman explains why reviewing your liability coverage can help protect you, your family, and everything you’ve worked for.

Hi, my name is Joyce Novotny-Prettyman. I’m  one of the attorneys at the Quatrini Law Group that helps people who are involved  in auto accidents, slip and fall cases, and other types of personal injury claims.  I want to talk this morning in our Legal Tip Tuesday about what you can do to protect you and  your family with regard to your auto insurance. Your auto insurance is the main thing  while you’re on the road that will protect you. Liability insurance is the piece of your  insurance that helps protect your assets in  case you’re at fault for an accident. I’ve  talked to so many clients lately who have a hundred thousand dollars of  liability insurance or less. So let’s think about that. Your liability  insurance is usually something that’s in place so that your home or other valuable assets  are not at risk if you’re at fault in an auto accident. Is your home worth more than a hundred  thousand dollars? These days I’m guessing it is. If you haven’t looked at your insurance lately,  take time to look at your liability insurance. Make sure that it provides you with adequate  coverage, and if you have any questions about that coverage or any other part of your auto  insurance, we’re more than happy to help you and guide you through the process of choosing the  correct coverage for you. Your insurance coverage is so important in regard to your auto coverage. It’s something that you use every day, and it protects you while you’re on the road.  It protects not only you but also members of
your family. So take a look at your liability  insurance if you haven’t done that lately. That piece of your insurance is also  important for the un- and underinsured portion of your coverage. Thanks for  listening to this Legal Tip Tuesday.
