Ernest Orsatti was quoted, commenting on the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision to temporarily stay an appellate court injunction ordering the newspaper to reinstate the former strikers’ health care and return to bargaining for a new union contract.
“ The Supreme Court of the United States doesn’t normally grant emergency stays like that unless they’re seriously considering granting certiorari, so that is not a good sign for the union,” Orsatti said.
