Fought for the wage-loss benefits our client deserved after an auto accident

In handling a wage loss claim for a client who injured his neck and shoulder in an auto collision, we were able to obtain $20,000 more in wage loss benefits than the auto insurance carrier offered. Jeffrey Monzo obtained a $295,000 settlement for a client who was injured in a fall while working as an independent contractor for a power company.  The client developed Compartment Syndrome resulting in a partial amputation of his leg. Despite the fact that liability was disputed in that it was alleged that the client’s fall was a result of his own negligence the settlement was obtained when we were able to demonstrate the condition on the Company’s premises that caused the fall and the causation of the injury from the fall.

Collected policy limits on an underinsured motorist claim arguing against the family car exclusion

Achieved a settlement prior to trial in a trip and fall case

Our client was at a house in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, when she tripped and fell on uneven stairs leading from the front door to the driveway. Her injuries included a fracture to her proximal humerus, which required surgery, damage to her teeth, and multiple other injuries. Our personal injury attorneys worked with an engineer and prepared a report detailing numerous defects in the stairs, including the absence of a handrail, leading to our client’s fall. A lawsuit was filed in Allegheny County and our attorneys obtained a substantial settlement for our client prior to trial.
