Hi, this is Michael Quatrini for a Legal Tip Monday? That’s because tomorrow it’s your opportunity to vote. And voting is important because legislation here in Pennsylvania affects the rights of injured workers, those injured in motor vehicle accidents, and those that are too disabled to work. For instance, there’s legislation pending that would force injured workers to treat with the company doctor for a year or more. They’re also attempting to use retired non-treating physicians, doctors that have been out of the game to do total body impairments for injured workers. Separately, the Pennsylvania State Senate has been holding up very good proworker legislation that would extend scarring benefits to the entire body for injured workers rather than just limit it to the face, head or neck, where it’s been limited for over 100 years. Tomorrow, take the opportunity to vote for those people who are going to support proworker policies and are going to push back on legislation [music] to take away additional rights. Thank you.
