Hi everybody, it’s Adam Quatrini with Quatrini Law Group coming with another Legal Tip Tuesday and a fresh haircut. What I want to talk about today is the heat. It’s summer’s coming up and we all know how hot it can get. We’re all rushing indoors, but we need to remember our workers, those outside, those inside without proper ventilation. If you are injured from a heat related illness, think heat stroke, exhaustion, dehydration, whatever it might be, that is compensible in Pennsylvania. These rules are complex. So, please call Quatrini Law Group so we can discuss it. OSHA, the Occupational Safety and Hazard Association, is promalgating new rules specifically aimed at heat stress. Those will be coming out. We’ll be speaking more about them. But again, remember it is your right to go inside, get cool, speak up. You do not have to continue working in conditions that you feel are unsafe. And if you do suffer an injury, call us. We’ll be happy to discuss.
